Organic Fruit

Fruit is a wonder food! Of all the foods in the Food Pyramid, fruit is one of the foods that can be most generously eaten. For those that are conscious about their health, organic fruit is a high priority.

Thankfully many supermarkets and farms are starting to catch onto the idea of organic, and are providing organic produce in many stores. Organic fruit, while it may be a bit more expensive, doesn't contain the chemicals and pesticides found on non-organic foods. There are so many wonderful fruits that we can eat, some of which are unknown to many people. Some fruits we can eat are melons, bananas, oranges, tangerines, lemons, plums, apricots, grapes, mangos, passion fruit, guava, pinapple, pears, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, and sooo much more. Fruits are a very special food given to us to enjoy and to replenish the body.
